eCoasters - Terms and Conditions

Welcome to eCoasters. By booking and participating in our eBike tours, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

1. Booking & Payment

  1. All tours require a pre-reservation via our website Bookings page, email, or WhatsApp.

  2. After confirming the number of participants, date, and time, your pre-reservation is held.

  3. To finalize the booking, payment must be made through the details we provide.

  4. If you choose to pay on the day, your reservation is only a pre-reservation. Slots may be lost if someone else books the same time before your payment.

  5. Bookings are subject to availability.

 

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  1. Free cancellation is allowed up to 72 hours before the tour.

  2. No-shows or cancellations after this time will result in full loss of the paid amount.

  3. In case of unsafe weather, we will reschedule your tour whenever possible.

  4. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.

 

3. Age & Participation Requirements

  1. There is no minimum age, provided participants can safely use the eBike.

  2. All riders must have basic ability to ride a bicycle or motorbike.

  3. No minimum physical fitness or weight restrictions apply.

  4. Zero tolerance for alcohol or drugs. Participation under the influence may result in tour cancellation without refund.

 

4. Safety & Responsibility

  1. The use of a helmet is mandatory for all participants.

  2. Riding an eBike involves inherent risks. Participants are responsible for their own safety, except in cases caused by faulty equipment provided by eCoasters.

  3. Our staff will provide a briefing before the tour to ensure all participants understand how to safely operate the eBike.

  4. By participating, you agree to follow the instructions of the guide at all times.

 

5. Insurance & Licensing

  1. eCoasters is fully registered with RNAAT and holds all necessary insurance for the activity.

  2. Participants are covered by insurance during the activity.

  3. Safety is a top priority, but participants acknowledge that riding involves risks inherent to outdoor activities.

 

6. Meeting Point & Transfers

  1. We currently do not have a fixed physical location.

  2. The exact meeting point will be shared after booking.

  3. Transfers to the start of the tour are available upon request.

 

7. Tour Conduct

  1. Participants must follow the guide’s instructions at all times.

  2. Riding in a reckless or unsafe manner may result in immediate removal from the tour, without refund.

  3. Group pace is adapted to participants’ abilities whenever possible. Private tours may be organized for the group that booked to allow riding at your own rhythm.

 

8. Liability

  1. eCoasters is not liable for injuries, accidents, or incidents caused by participants failing to follow instructions or acting recklessly.

  2. Liability applies only for accidents or damages caused directly by faulty equipment provided by eCoasters.

  3. Participants accept responsibility for personal belongings.

 

9. Photography & Video

  1. eCoasters may take photos or videos during the tour for promotional purposes.

  2. By participating, you consent to being included in such media.

  3. If you prefer not to be filmed or photographed, please inform the guide before the tour starts.

 

10. Privacy & Data

  1. Participant information collected for bookings will be used only for booking, communication, and safety purposes.

  2. We do not share personal data with third parties except as required by law.

 

11. Governing Law

  1. These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.

  2. Any disputes arising from participation or booking will be subject to Portuguese jurisdiction.
