Into the Woods is a two-hour guided off-road eBike experience through forest tracks, sandy sections and natural trails near Costa da Caparica.
Unlike a traditional sightseeing tour, the focus is on the ride itself: handling the terrain, moving through the forest and discovering natural areas and coastal viewpoints that are difficult to reach by car.
This is the most technical and physically active of our eBike experiences. Electric assistance helps on climbs, but riders still need enough confidence to control a heavier all-terrain bike on uneven and sometimes loose surfaces.
A local guide accompanies the group throughout the experience, explains how to operate the eBike and adapts the route and pace to the riders, weather and trail conditions.

Into the Woods is designed for riders who already feel confident controlling a bicycle. You do not need advanced mountain-bike experience, but you should be comfortable braking, turning and maintaining balance on uneven or loose surfaces.

Are there height restrictions?

Are there any age restrictions?
There are no age restrictions for the experience. The main factor is height — riders need to be tall enough to safely fit and control the bike. Do I need to be physically fit?
You do not need a high level of fitness because the eBike provides electric assistance. However, this experience is more active than the scenic tours and riders must be able to control the bike on uneven terrain for approximately two hours.

What happens if the weather is unsafe?
If weather or trail conditions make the experience unsafe, eCoasters will contact you to reschedule. If an alternative date cannot be arranged, the amount paid will be refunded according to the applicable booking conditions.
